Chess for Beginners is a chess game designed especially for beginners and young players who are starting to learn the game.

It uses the P4WN chess engine for artificial intelligence. The chess engine has 5 levels and tops at around 1280 elo points. This engine its ideal as a rival for beginners that want to learn the basics of the game and play against a rival with the level of a beginner club player. Top level chess engines can be frustrating for young players that are taking their first steps into the game, so we implemented a chess engine that is a good rival for beginners, whom with some practice, will be able to defeat the engine and progress to a more complex rival.

The game includes over 1.000 chess puzzles - Mate in One Move- that can be loaded randomly as a training aid to help develop chess vision in beginners. The chess puzzles are positions of real games and you will be playing against the chess engine. If you dont make the mate the game will go on and the chess engine will make the next move. If you solve the puzzle the game ends as in normal play mode.

You can choose from different board colors and theres a choice of 16 different types of pieces.

It has been designed to be very small and light so that it can run in any phone with very minimal internal memory space requirements. The app will occupy just 2mb of space in the internal memory. It can run in old or low spec phones.
